Primax Recognized for the Third Consecutive Year in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook
Rigorous Global Assessment Reflects Sustained Execution of Long-Term Sustainability Governance
Primax Electronics Ltd. (TWSE: 4915) has been recognized for the third consecutive year in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, reflecting the company’s sustained execution and long-term commitment across environmental, social, and governance dimensions. Based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment conducted by S&P Global, Primax ranked among the top 15 percent of companies within its global industry peer group in a highly competitive evaluation process.
The continued inclusion in the 2026 Yearbook underscores the consistency of Primax’s sustainable governance approach and its ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes. Compared with its 2023 baseline year, the company achieved a 26.07 percent reduction in combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, highlighting tangible progress in its ongoing green transformation efforts.
Sustainability at Primax is guided by its long-standing P.R.I.MAX strategy, which focuses on Preservation, Responsibility, and Intelligence. Through a structured and system-oriented management framework, Primax has embedded 29 specific ESG objectives into corporate governance and daily operations, ensuring that sustainability considerations are integrated into decision-making, execution, and performance management across the organization.
On the environmental front, Primax has obtained validation of its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) 1.5-degree Celsius-aligned net-zero target and continues to advance its decarbonization roadmap. In parallel, the company actively supports the RE100 initiative and has implemented internal carbon pricing to guide investment and resource allocation toward low-carbon technology innovation, supporting steady progress toward its 2050 net-zero ambition.
Beyond environmental action, Primax places equal emphasis on governance and social responsibility. The company ranks within the top 5 percent of Taiwan’s Corporate Governance Evaluation System (CGES) and has received honors including the CommonWealth Magazine Corporate Citizenship Award and the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Award. These recognitions reflect Primax’s focus on talent development, responsible supply chain management, and stakeholder engagement.
Chairman Jack Pan stated: “Being recognized in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for the third time reflects the consistent and practical efforts of our teams in advancing ESG across the organization. Looking ahead, we will continue to strengthen collaboration across our value chain under the P.R.I.MAX framework, integrate low-carbon innovation with digital transformation, and support global customers in developing more energy efficient and intelligent products. Our goal is to steadily translate our sustainability commitments into long term value for both the market and society.”
