Primax Electronics Ltd. (TWSE: 4915) today announced its consolidated revenue for May amounted to NT$5.11 billion, a 1.7% month-over-month (MoM) increase. For January through May, Primax’s cumulative consolidated revenue was NT$23.79 billion, a 5.8% year-over-year (YoY) decrease.
With the rise of edge computing and GenAI applications, Primax will continue to focus on innovative applications of X-in-one sensory fusion technology, including public safety and AIoT(B2B) visual solutions. In response to the fast-growing video conferencing market, Primax has collaborated with customers on a AI video conferencing product that began shipping in May. Meanwhile, Primax’s audio business will expand into niche markets, such as content creation products and car audio systems. The company will integrate its group resources to enhance its sensory fusion capabilities, aligning with its overall strategic plan and strengthening its growth momentum.
The new features of AI PC, including comprehensive user experiences and enhanced efficiency, are expected to stimulate PC demand. Riding on edge computing trend, Primax aims to offer more innovative cross-industry applications, providing competitive solutions to customers and further enhancing its global market competitiveness.
